When creating a lesson, you will be given the chance to determine the initial price of your lesson. However, we offer guidance and supported market data to assist you in determining the best and standardized price for your lessons.
The minimum and maximum prices can be discussed before registering your lesson with us and final price shall be agreed among both parties before publishing your lessons. You cannot change the price of your lesson until reasonable time elapse. Lessons that you charge for on Eduemore cannot be offered for free outside Eduemore without our prior approval. For us to pay you in a timely manner, you must provide us with a valid bank account at your registration. If we do not receive proper identification information from you, we reserve the right to withhold any payment or impose other penalties. You must understand and agree that you are ultimately responsible for any taxes on your income.
In Eduemore, you are paid on a monthly basis which is supported by the monthly revenue report. Each month, Eduemore allocates a percentage of the total enrollment fees from new students and the payment is made by 10th business day of each month. You may refer to the “Revenue share” section for more details on this. We reserve the right not to make any payment in the event of identified fraud, violations of intellectual property rights, or any other violations of the law.You must understand that currently we do not have any refund policy for the payments made by students. However, we have the sole right to make appropriate changes in this policy at any time.
If we determine afterwards that students have the right to receive a refund, you will not receive any revenue from transactions for which a refund has been granted. If Eduemore is required to remit local sales taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), or other similar transaction taxes ("Transaction Taxes"), under applicable law, we will collect and remit those Transaction Taxes to the tax authorities for the sales amount applicable to you. We may decide to increase the sale prices of the lessons at our discretion where we determine that such taxes may be due.
When a student purchases your lesson, we calculate the gross amount of the sale as the amount received by Eduemore from the student ("Gross Amount"). Then, we subtract from this any transaction taxes, any mobile platform fees, and any amounts paid to third parties relating to the promotional programs to calculate the net amount of the sale ("Net Amount").
If you have not participated into any of Eduemore's Promotional Programs, your revenue share will be the Net Amount less Eduemore charge (20% of the Gross amount), any applicable deductions, such as student refunds (applicable only if refund policy is available), any lesson price reductions granted at your discretion. We have sole discretion to make changes this revenue share percentage and if we do such, we will provide you 30 days’ notice via email or by posting a notice through our Services. If you opt into any of the Promotional Programs, the relevant revenue share may be different and will be as specified in the promotions program. Eduemore makes all instructor payments in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) regardless of the currency with which the sale was made. Your revenue report will show the sales in local currency (LKR).Eduemore may offer several optional marketing programs or promotional programs in which you can choose to participate. These programs can help increase your revenue potential on Eduemore by finding the optimal price point for your lessons and promoting them through additional marketing channels.
You can make modifications to your status of participation at any time. However, the changes you make will not apply to currently active campaigns. There is no up-front cost to participate in these promotional programs.Instructions can request anytime to delete your instructor account.
